How Does digital Energy Work Apply To You?

Digital Energy Work centers the idea that locking down our digital lives under fascism is a spiritual practice that requires self-inquiry, skill-building & community support.

Digital Energy Work emphasizes a few important truths:

1. we must empower ourselves and each other digitally just as we empower ourselves spiritually, even in the face of what feels like insurmountable odds against our privacy and security
2. our embodied energy (e.g. emotions, thoughts, tension) is impacted by our digital lives (e.g. social media, email, cloud storage, messaging, etc)
3. our online behaviors (e.g. what, how, and why we post/send/publish (and how frequently)) are impacted by the fluctating states of our embodied energy
4. we have become so vulnerable online that attempting to establish grounding, boundaries, and protections digitally feels overwhelming and discouraging
5. we have entrusted this vulnerability to imperialist companies that we know are not benevolent (e.g. Apple, Microsoft, Google, Meta, Amazon), and who we know will become increasingly malevolent
6. our investment in our online presence often overshadows our investment in our energetic wellbeing
7. because our digital and spiritual lives have become so integrated, we must approach our digital lives with the same intentionality that we approach our spiritual lives
8. we must apply protection, boundary, and grounding work to our digital presences, just as we do our other energy work
9. every step we take toward digital privacy and security improves community protection for violently targeted communities (e.g. trans people)
